How Autopulto actually works

Exactly what you set up, what runs on its own in the background, and the few places where you finish with a click. No surprises after you pay.

Setup takes about 10 minutes

A one-time thing. After this, it runs.

1

Create a free account

~1 min

500 free credits, no card. You can try the whole flow before paying a cent.

2

Add your product

~2 min

Paste your website URL (or upload a deck / one-pager, or type a few lines). Autopulto reads it and drafts your Ideal Customer Profile and a full go-to-market plan for you.

3

Review & approve the strategy

~3 min

You see the ICP, channels, content themes, and a 3-phase plan. Edit anything, then approve in one click. Nothing runs until you do.

4

Connect the channels you want

~3 min

Click to connect your accounts (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, a blog, etc.) with secure one-click sign-in. Connect only what you want — you can add more later.

Runs on its own

Once you've approved the plan, the engine does all of this in the background — on a schedule, without you:

  • Researches your market, keywords, communities, and press contacts
  • Writes posts, articles, and press releases in your modeled brand voice — grounded in your real facts, never inventing stats or claims.
  • Schedules everything across your connected channels
  • Publishes to connected social accounts & your hosted blog
  • Prepares ready-to-submit listings for 50+ startup directories and 8 free PR sites
  • Sends outreach emails and follows up
  • Scores every post, learns what wins for your audience, and tells you the best time to post — it gets sharper the longer it runs.

Needs a quick human step

We're upfront about this: a few things can't (or shouldn't) be fully automated.

  • Connecting your accounts — a one-time sign-in per platform. We never see your passwords; you can disconnect anytime.
  • Sites that block automation — a handful of high-value places (Product Hunt, Indie Hackers, some review sites) don't allow auto-posting. Autopulto writes the submission and hands it to you pre-filled for a ~1-minute finish — the optional browser extension walks you through it.
  • Approving directory & PR submissions. These start in your hands — Autopulto prepares each listing and you approve it in a click. Auto-submit unlocks once you've approved a few clean ones. (Social & blog posts can run hands-off, or keep Review-first on for those too.)

You choose how much control you keep

Flip between these anytime — per campaign.

Full-auto

The engine generates, schedules, and publishes to your connected channels without checking in. Best once you trust the output. You still get a quick manual hand-off for the bot-blocked sites.

Review-first

Everything the engine writes lands in an approval queue. You skim it, edit if needed, and approve — nothing goes public until you do. Great for your first few weeks.

Channel by channel

Where publishing is fully automatic vs. where you finish with a click.

ChannelHow it publishes
X / Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok — posts Automatic once connected
Managed blog (hosted for you) Automatic — an SEO blog we host & publish, in review or full-auto
Replies under someone else's post — every platform, X included Drafted for you → you press send. We never post a reply, on any plan or autonomy setting
Reddit & community posts Drafted for you → you press send. Never auto-posted, on any plan or autonomy setting
Press releases (8 free PR sites) Prepared for you → you approve; auto-submits once enabled
Startup directories (50+) Prepared for you → you approve; auto-submits where supported, once enabled
Email outreach to press/creators Automatic, with auto follow-ups
Product Hunt, Indie Hackers, some review sites Prepared for you → ~1-minute manual finish

Automatic channels require a one-time account connection. You only ever connect the ones you choose.

Reddit is deliberately not automatic. Moderators judge your whole account history, not the single post — and that ban is permanent, usually on your personal account. So Autopulto drafts community posts and stops. It is a product boundary, not a setting you can switch off.

Nothing happens that you didn't set up

You approve the strategy before it runs. You connect only the channels you want. You can pause the engine, switch to Review-first, or disconnect an account at any time. The free plan lets you walk the entire setup — draft your strategy and see your first content — before you decide to pay.
